NL Voor SL Stichting Program Badulla district

Project Overview

In January 2024, NL for SL successfully distributed essential school supplies to 120 underprivileged children across the Badulla district. This initiative aimed to ensure that economically disadvantaged students have the necessary materials to continue their education without financial barriers.

Project Details

Total Investment: Rs. 997,530 (Nine hundred ninety-seven thousand five hundred thirty Rupees)

Supplier: Acme School and Office Supplier (Pvt) Ltd, Badulla

Special Features:

  • Custom textile bags with donor details, prepared by a local women’s group.
  • 10’x8′ background banner showcasing organizational information (designed by In Design Advertising, Badulla).

1. Welimada Distribution

Project Impact

This initiative reached 120 underprivileged children across 54 schools in the Badulla district, spanning multiple divisional secretariat areas. By providing comprehensive school supplies, we ensured that economic hardship does not hinder these students’ access to quality education.

The multi-location approach and collaboration with religious leaders, school principals, and local communities demonstrated a unified commitment to supporting Sri Lanka’s future generation.
